If you have found your way to this page, something has been weighing on you for a while. Maybe you are not even sure how to put it into words yet. That is alright. You do not have to have it all worked out before you get in touch. We are Del and Sandra Wheeler, and we have each been working as integrative therapists for around nineteen years. We live and work here in Devon, and we would be glad to sit with you.
Whatever you are carrying, there is likely a way we can help. We offer relationship counselling for couples who feel stuck, grief counselling when you have lost someone who mattered, and psychotherapy for the things that run deeper. We also work with addiction counselling, trauma therapy including childhood trauma when you feel ready, and practical approaches like CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), behavioural therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Our counselling services are tailored to you, not squeezed into a fixed programme.
Being based in Teignmouth means we can see people across Devon face to face, from Exeter and Torquay to Newton Abbot and beyond, where that suits you. And because we also work online, where you live is never a barrier. If you are in a Devon village with no therapist nearby, or somewhere else in the country, or even abroad, we can meet by video or WhatsApp at a time that fits your life.
No hard sell and no jargon. Just two experienced therapists, a warm welcome, and counselling that fits around you.
Del and Sandra have each worked as integrative therapists for around nineteen years. You are in steady, experienced hands.
We are integrative, so we draw on whatever helps you most, from CBT and psychodynamic therapy to grief and trauma work. No two people get the same fixed plan.
You can say whatever you need to say here. There is no judgement, no shame and no pressure to be further along than you are.
